Everything was good, including very polite staff on reception desk. Location: the hotel was short walk to the other whole sale and retail stores and good restaurants and certain areas. It was 1 mi from Pai Dosa, offering quick-service food.

I recently stayed at Hotel Mart View for 5 weeks and it was a wonderful experience. The staff at the reception desk were always friendly and helpful, even offering us cake on the manager's birthday. Our basic room exceeded expectations, with amenities like a fridge, full wardrobe, and breakfast bar. The bathroom was clean with a powerful and hot shower. The maintenance staff quickly resolved any issues, such as a faulty TV box. The bed was large and comfortable, and the hotel even arranged food delivery from a local takeaway. The hotel's location was convenient, just a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride from the jetty to Fort Cochin.

Can just recommend this hotel.

This place has an excellent location close to the market, and you should definitely check out the nearby Abad Cafe and Patisserie for the best coffee.

I must say, the prime location of this hotel in the Ernakulam district of Cochin really worked in my favor. It was like being at the center of all the action, just like the High Court of Kerala which was a mere 400 meters away. And let's not forget the popular points of interest near the hotel, making it so convenient to explore the city.

The staff at Mart View were extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. They went out of their way to assist us with our travel and sightseeing plans. The hotel was also clean and tidy, making for a pleasant stay overall.

Personally, I found the showers in the bathrooms a bit small. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others might still find them perfectly fine.
